Imad Bouhmadi
Founder & CEO
Imad founded PayTic in 2020 to power the industry with dedicated technologies that help BIN sponsors and their affiliates in complying with the industry standards and managing their day-to-day operations including chargebacks, frauds, customer support, reconciliation, and more. He has 15+ years experience in Payment Cards Processing including credit, debit, prepaid cards, mobile payments, and processing operations.

Ayyoub Rqibi
VP of Client Success
Ayyoub is responsible for ensuring that PayTic’s clients are getting maximum value from their SaaS subscription. Before PayTic Ayyoub managed payment programs for over 50 banks and financial institutions in Europe, Asia, and Americas. He has worked closely with executives at these institutions to monitor performance, improve processes, and optimize their operations.

Kate Firuz
Director of Product
Kate is responsible for directing the product strategy, roadmap, and work cross-functionally with all teams to push products forward. Kate holds a master’s degree from McGill University in Montreal and has worked in the payments industry for over 8 years; she has directed company growth on the acquiring side and was Director of Banking, Product while building a card program from the ground up in the Canadian market.

Gerry Lawless
Chief Product Officer
Gerry is responsible for product strategy, product marketing and product management. Over the span of 20 years, Gerry has held various product leadership roles at iWave and IBM. He has a passion for solving client problems with technology, and he has helped build several award-winning products.
Rob Barbara, Director
Board of Directors
Rob is a Managing Partner at Build Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on emerging technology companies based in Atlantic Canada. Build Ventures has $120 million under management. Rob brings two decades experience working in investment management and capital market roles to his work at Build Ventures. He is also a successful startup entrepreneur, having co-founded the medical IT startup, eSalveo, which exited by acquisition in 2001. Rob earned his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and his undergraduate and Masters degrees (Economics) from Queen’s University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Gordon Cooper, Director

Gorgon is the COO and a co-founder at RTGS.global, a next-generation Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI) for cross-border settlement and payments. Prior to this, he spent nearly two decades with Visa in general management and new product commercialization roles, based out of Singapore, Tokyo, Ho Chi Minh City, and London. He was also the COO of Intel-backed Kinduct (Movella), a leader in data analytics for the professional sports industry.
